Morison KSi and ACCA renew global MOU
The two organisations will collaborate on specific areas of co-operation to bring benefits to member firms and to demonstrate commitment to global excellence for the accounting profession.
The global MOU was signed on Friday 1 November by Morison KSi’s Chairman Jean-Pierre Larroze and Helen Brand OBE, Chief Executive of ACCA. Jean-Pierre was joined by Morison KSi’s Chief Executive Officer, Memoria Lewis.
Building on the success of the original 2017 MOU, ACCA and Morison KSi will continue to work together to:
- Provide access to initiatives and services that support attracting new finance and accounting talent.
- Run joint events in markets which are of mutual interest.
- Promote the global relationship between both organisations through internal communication channels.
- Identify opportunities to speak at events and share information and research insights that are mutually beneficial.
Memoria Lewis, CEO of Morison KSi said:
‘Morison KSi is delighted to renew its Memorandum of Understanding with ACCA to demonstrate our commitment to global excellence for the accounting profession. As global organisations our members face the same challenges. By exploring emerging issues together and supporting knowledge sharing, we will work towards deeper understanding of the changes this profession faces.’
Commenting on the new agreement, Helen Brand said:
‘We’re really pleased to sign this updated MOU, to develop further our strong and strategic link with Morison KSi. Since 2017, we’ve worked together on a number of projects centred around talent and leadership, including showcasing our thinking at high level events and conferences. Renewing our MOU means there is more to come, so that we can better understand the present and future demands for the profession, while also continuing to share platforms to communicate our respective insights and views.’
