Mexico City hosts Morison KSi International and Latin America conference
115 delegates and 35 companions met in Mexico City on 16-19 November for a successful annual Morison KSi International and Latin America conference.
The conference was opened by former Mexican Foreign Minister, Jorge Castañeda, who provided an insightful keynote speech on business opportunities in Mexico and accross the Latin America region.
Cybersecurity was a particular focus during the conference, with presentations from Mark Oram, BGS Ltd, Richard Stanger, StangerCarlson, and Dan Schroeder, who shared their expertise in the field and explored ways in which member firms could adapt to the fast-growing presence of cyber threats and opportunities.
The agenda also included presentations by member firms, sharing knowledge in technical topics, and the popular Common Interest Group (CIG) sessions.
Thanks to Jon Sutcliffe, Kingston Smith LLP (audit), Jeff Singer, ILV SILVER (corporate finance), Diane Paoletta, Marks Paneth LLP (marketing) and Bernhard Madörin, artax Fide Consult AG (tax) for leading the sessions.
In addition to the professional sessions, delegates and companions enjoyed a memorable networking and social programme, exploring the spectacular Teotihuacán pyramids, and sampling some traditional Mexican cuisine.
Thank you to all firms that attended and contributed to the conference! Special thanks are due to the host firm, Grupo KMC, for their warm welcome to Mexico City and excellent support in organising this successful conference!
