Key Kak honoured with a Lifetime Achievement award
Morison KSi is pleased to announce that Key Kak, Senior Partner at Morison Kak & Associés (Cambodia), has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement award by The Institute of Certified Management Accountants.
The Institute of Certified Management Accountants is an Australian-based specialist professional body focused on promoting and developing the science of management accounting and business analysis.
Key Kak was selected to be inducted to the Global Accounting Hall of Fame in recognition of his lifetime of achievement and significant contribution to the profession in Cambodia.
This honour recognises Key’s outstanding work in providing the financial information required to power the fast-economic development of the country.
Key has co-operated with the Ministry of Economy and Finance supported by the French Conseil Supérieur de l’Ordre des Experts-comptables to draft the law called “Law on Corporate Accounts, their Audits and the Profession of Accountants” and its application Anukrets. Promulgated by the late His Majesty King Father on July 8, 2002, following overwhelming approval by Parliament, this law was the first foundation of current accounting and auditing profession in Cambodia and a lifetime achievement for Key Kak.
Key was also the first President of Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), where he served two terms of office until 2009.
A VIP dinner was held on 19 October 2017, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Phnom Penh, at which Key Kak was formally inducted.
On behalf of Morison KSi and its members, we congratulate Key on this impressive recognition!
