Johannesburg hosts Morison KSi’s first African conference
The event welcomed 25 delegates on 5-7 December.
The conference brought together Morison KSi’s African firms and welcomed representatives from Europe and Latin America.
The agenda featured a number of high-profile external speakers including Alan Mukoki from the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI), Lefaria Kinimi from the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) and Mike Gora from the ACCA.
Morison KSi firms contributed with excellent presentations on regulatory trends and best practice knowledge sharing. The Morison KSi Africa Technical and Risk Committee provided an update on its progress to date and ambitions for the future.
Delegates enjoyed a fantastic array of international and African cuisine, and spent a fascinating day touring the city’s contrasting neighbourhoods, and visiting the Apartheid Museum.
On behalf of all member firms, thanks are due to host firms, SizweNtsalubaGobodo (SNG) and Tuffias Sandberg KSi, whose kind hospitality was greatly appreciated.
The 2017 African conference will be in Marrakesh, Morocco in September 2017 (exact dates to be confirmed).
