Morison KSi North America announces new Chair
Sandra Ataman of McCarney Group (Toronto, Canada) has been appointed as the new Chair of Morison KSi North America. This is further to the standing down of Bill Norwalk, Sensiba San Filippo (San Franciso, US) who has served as Chair since 2016. Bill will be retiring from his firm Sensiba San Filippo in 2021.
Sandra is an Assurance Partner at McCarney Group and leads all HR functions at the firm, with a more recent focus on operations and strategic planning. Sandra has been a member of the Morison KSi North American board since 2017. Her fluency with the Portuguese language and her interest in travel and business networking have provided her success with building strong client and professional relationships both within North America and around the world.
"I feel truly honoured and privileged to be elected to this role. I am excited to work with each member firm and the International and Regional boards to continue to grow and enhance our association. It has been a privilege to work with Bill Norwalk on the North American Board. His mentorship and leadership have been invaluable in helping me develop as a member of the Board and a contributor to MKSi."
On Sandra’s appointment Bill said:
"Congratulations to Sandra on her unanimous election to Chairperson of the Morison KSi North American Board. She has gained the trust of her colleagues to lead the continued growth and success of the association, its member firms and the clients we serve. I have very much enjoyed working with her as a fellow board member!"
Sandra will also join the Morison KSi international board in her capacity of Chair of North America.
Thank you to Bill for his contributions and enthusiasm in leading the region’s activities over the past four years - we will miss working in partnership with you!
