Members meet in Santiago, Chile, for successful Morison KSi Latin American Conference
39 delegates and 12 companions met in Santiago, Chile, on 30 August – 1 September for the annual Morison KSi Latin American Conference.
39 delegates and 12 companions attended the annual Morison KSi Latin American Conference held at the Santiago Marriott Hotel.
The conference was opened by a prestigious music and dance group, the Folkloric Ballet of Chile (BAFOCHI), which treated all in attendance to traditional performances from across Chile.
The programme covered a range of topics including “Business Opportunities from Chile and Latin America” from Keynote Speaker and Economist, Bernardo Javalquinto, “From accountant to full-time venture capitalist” from former Partner of Argentinian member firm S&A - Auditores y Consultores and current President of the Argentine Association of Private Equity, Venture and Seed Capital (ARCAP), Diego González Bravo,and “Lessons to be learnt from the British Chilean Chamber of Commerce” from its CEO, Greg Holland.
Furthermore, a number of member firms shared insight into their recent endeavours and areas of expertise.
In addition to the professional sessions, the delegates and companions enjoyed a dynamic social programme that included a dinner at Vista Santiago, with breath-taking views overlooking the city, and a tour and tasting at Viña Tarapacá, one of Chile’s many impressive vineyards.
